All party guests and employees of the Black Brilliance Ball will be screened for respiratory symptoms and have their body temperature taken as a precautionary measure to reduce the spread of COVID-19.
COVID-19 is the infectious disease caused by the most recently discovered coronavirus. This new virus and disease were unknown before the outbreak began in Wuhan, China, in December 2019. COVID-19 is now a pandemic affecting many countries globally.
COVID-19 is spread primarily from person to person through small droplets from the nose or mouth, expelled when a person with COVID-19 coughs or sneezes. People can catch COVID-19 if they breathe in these droplets, or by touching objects or surfaces where the droplets have landed, then their face.
People with COVID-19 have had a wide range of symptoms reported – ranging from mild symptoms to severe illness. Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus.
People with these symptoms may have COVID-19:
Fever or chills
Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
Muscle or body aches
New loss of taste or smell
Congestion or runny nose
Nausea or vomiting
If you have any of the above symptoms 48 hours prior to the event please stay home. Hand and respiratory hygiene is important at ALL times and is the best way to protect yourself and others.
